• Nominee must be  single and a female college student.
  • Nominee must be between 18-26 years old.
  • Nominee must live in Tallahassee, Florida or surrounding areas.
  • Nominee must be currently enrolled in a college, university, or technical school.
  • Nominee must be in good academic standing.
  • Nominee must be actively involved in at least one area of community service.
  • Nominee must be currently employed (earning income consistently).
  • Nominee should be an exemplary role model who people of all ages and backgrounds can look upon to emulate Christ’s character.
  • Required documentation for nominee must be submitted with initial application.
  • Honoree must be present at the gala and agrees to be photographed. Photographs will be used for promotion.
  • Nominee application must be accurate, honest, and forthright.
  • Judging Committee shall be independent and a representative will notify all finalists.
  • All identifying information—including but not limited to city, state, name, and address—will not be available to the judging committee, so as not to impact any decisions.
  • The P:31 Women’s Ministry, TWG, and Oasis Christian Center assumes no liability in case of injury, inaccurate data retrieval; and applicant releases P:31 Women’s Ministry, TWG, Oasis Christian Center and all parties involved from any liability, as such.

Can I submit more than one nomination?

If you know more than one college student who is excelling academically, despite challenges and oppositions, and has a story worth highlighting, you are very welcome to submit more than one nomination. The judging committee does not know how many nominees any one applicant has submitted, nor does it positively or negatively affect the outcome in any way.

Should the nominee be currently enrolled at a college, university, or trade school?

Yes. The nominee must be actively pursuing a college degree or trade at a college, university, or trade school and must be in good standing.

Does the nominee have to live in Tallahassee, Florida?

Yes. The nominee must live in Tallahassee, Florida or surrounding areas.

Can the nominee be married?

No. The nominee must be single and a female college student who is actively pursuing a degree or trade, and is in good academic standing.
